Excellent mount for telephoto lenses

Could be Better

I do love the ability to move the strap location depending on my setup. The one thing I wish is that the "Anchor Mount" also had a tripod mount. I do not want to put the larger mount on my camera and a tripod screw could be added to the Anchor Mount without increasing the size by much.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great mount

The shipping was very fast, and the mount itself is even smaller than I thought. It feels very sturdy and I have no fears of it twisting itself loose. I specifically chose this mount because other mounts are bulkier and dig into your hip. This one doesn't. Highly recommend!

I love to take pictures while hiking. I have historically attached my camera with straps to my backpack so that it is easily accessible for a photo. The problem is as I walk the camera swings which is very annoying. This purchased this clip to attach to my backpack strap. It keeps the camera attached but easily accessible. Great clip great solution. Thanks Peak Design.

I have those on all my cameras and lenses with a tripod foot. They allow me to easily switch from the sling, the wrist strap to no strap at all.

You wouldn't expect a plate to play such a significant role in photography but this simple item makes the day a lot less stressful. It coordinates seamlessly from tripod to capture clip. Good stuff.

Must have to modernize existing straps

I bought this 2 months ago along with a set of anchor links. This is now the perfect addition to my Crumpler's Industry Disgrace straps - this allows me to wear the straps in a sling fashion. Works wonder on my Canon 6D and Tamron 24-70 - as this is kind of a heavy setup to wear just around your neck. If you're thinking of buying the anchor links, don't forget this guy.
