Just Purchased the Anchor Mount for my Canon R7. Quality is excellent, including the black finish. Comes with a hex key and looks like part of the camera frame. Highly recommended.

Excellent little part

I used this to mount on my 100-400 zoom tripod foot. It allows the use of the anchor links, so the strap is on the lens, in the proper place. Small, easy to use and not in the way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Use this MORE than my plates

I rarely use my tripods, so went back to the Anchor Mount. It's so much smaller and cleaner than having the Pro Plate.

I bought dual plate to go with my Manfrotto Tripod. This is a great plate for anyone that uses Peak Design’s straps and uses large lenses for a anchor point at the bottom of the camera.
I would recommend this to a friend!
