I can now carry two cameras and have either at the ready very quickly. Carrying my primary camera using the Slide cross body is secure and convenient.

Love this strap! The extra anchors are amazing, I LOVE the 1/4"-20 anchor. This is my connection point of preference 90% of the time I'm shooting still. For video I love you can flip the strap and use the grips for more stability or use the non grippy side to for more mobility. Strap size is super easy to adjust but still secure when locked into place. Love it.

There's a one-star review on this thread, easy to find, where the user has been taking his gear to the most punishing environments on the planet, and he states he's been doing it for at least THREE YEARS and his only complaint is the gear is starting to show some wear and tear. This was an alarming cause of concern for him, but a huge selling point for me. I bought this strap because he proved it will hold up to anything I use it for. Now that I have it and have used it in the field, I cannot believe I didn't buy one YEARS ago. To be fair, I just learned about Peak Design from a co-worker and fellow amateur photog. I am buying one for my dad as well. I can go on and on about how many other straps I have tried over the years, but nothing like this. I can sling my 1D X Mk III or 5d mk iv with attached lens and literally forget about it as I move through terrain. And since I'm not taking it to the most punishing environments on earth, I would be happy to get over three years before it shows signs of wear and tear. Stop reading here and buy it. It will accomplish what you are looking for and more. The provided 'how too' videos are comprehensive and help you quickly acclimate to using your new product.

I bought this about a month ago to use with my new Nikon z7ii. A friend recommended it and I really like it. It keeps the camera in a comfortable position until I need it. It makes it really grab when I see a photo op.

Too stiff and uncomfortable.

I was given this strap as a gift. It is well built but the issue for me is that it is stiff, not flexible and very uncomfortable on my neck. It is heavy for a strap. I no longer use it.

I attached the slide light carryology to my small in footprint, Fuji XT20. I then set the slide up for cross carry. The camera height was adjusted so that it sits at about my Iliac crest. I was extremely happy with how smoothly I am able to get it from there to shooting position. I then flipped the strap to test the grippy section. I climbed, I bent over etc. My camera stayed in position better than I expected it to. I bought a capture also. I will review it whenever I get it rigged. This strap will take care of my woods carry. That’s what I bought this stuff to do.

The Only Strap You'll Need

After upgrading from the strap that came with my camera, I kicked myself for not doing it sooner. The PD Slide is comfy, even with a professional body and honkin' telephoto lens! Never had any issues with mine! No more neck burns from the cheap quality of other straps.
