Great product but I'm fussy
on December 10, 2017

Saw this online, watched reviews and said 'yep, that will suit my needs perfectly.
Received it today and I must say it is great BUT being 6'5', this strap is to short, it barely allows my canon 6D to sit below my hip line. This is my disappointment.

Not for use with the Canon G5xii
on August 11, 2021

Was so excited to receive this but it just does NOT FIT the Canon G5xii. Reasons are: 1) the secure connection blocks access to the battery and card slot. So you'd have to use the Allen wrench to detach and then screw it back on. Also the corded ends on the strap do not fit into the strap handles - trust me, I have small hands and tried for over 30mins to try to get it to fit. I wished this fit, but there's just no way.

If I was a dog I’d want this leash

Strong, nice feel, and the dark blue color is sleek! I finally bit the bullet and took a chance on Peak Design and I am never looking back. Especially as a wedding photography I am frequently switching between cameras. The lock system along with the heavy duty power of the leash does wonders! 5/5 just buy it.

Not secure
on December 24, 2021

This was a great idea but when I tested it it was not secure for my lens. They would fall off. Especially for wide lenses like 70-200 or my 24-70. It’s only fir small prime lenses for a rangefinder, not a SLR.

Good strap but needs pad for heavier camera

Great, except it is very narrow. I will add a pad as I did on my Sling. I like the ability to quickly remove and attach your straps. I use the Leash for my Sony RX10 m4 which is a beefy bridge camera and the Sling for my Sony A7R4 with 100-400 G lens.

Hands down - The best
on October 30, 2017

I tested my new Leash in Glacier National Park. I had my OMD EM5 with zoom attached. I tried the sling position and the camera never moved from the small of my back - great when hiking thru bushes. Being a big guy I was surprised the sling position didn't move. Bringing it to my eye was quick. Taking only a moment, it was reconfigured to hang from my neck. The strap is very comfortable and the anchor links are great. I've had other strap systems and this will be my last. GREAT STRAP!
