Not just for cameras!

I know this is for cameras but I've been looking for a strap for a personal cooler for sometime, and this fit the bill! With only a small hole to feed through the small slips worked great. Also the 200 lb weight capacity made me feel very secure when transporting my cooler around. Is it what they intended it for? No. Does it work ridiculously well? Heck yeah!

I have been using the Leash for more than a month now and I really love it. I used to have so much trouble with the traditional straps that come with cameras. The leash has really optimized the way I use my camera. It creates a perfect flow whenever wanting to store the camera on the side of my chest or when bringing it close to the eye. It is absolutely intuitive and user-friendly and creates a very "pro" feeling. I really liked the fact that it brought two pairs of anchors, giving me the possibility to switch the strap from my Fuji to my Sony at any given time. Every single detail has been thought through. Thank you for making awesome gear!

Most versatile camera strap
on May 24, 2021

I've been carrying cameras while traveling for over FOUR DECADES with cheap, stiff, difficult to attach-and-adjust straps of every kind. So it's safe to say I know camera straps. The leash is by far the most versatile. The fact that it is one of the thinnest fits my minimalist approach. It slides easily in the sling-across position without grabbing and bunching up my shirt while bringing my camera up to shoot. I also bought the cuff for more occasional shooting, and it changes easily with the same strap attachment system. Take it from a long-time shooter, it's worth the purchase, and will make your picture taking more enjoyable.

don't be foo-leash and buy another strap

This is awesome for my a7c. compact, easy folds up. and adjusts so fast. i just wish PD made some slimmer anchors for the eyelets of the a7c. other than that super handy. My only suggestion would be to have some clips / loops to hold together the straps when they are adjusted. otherwise you have two awkward loops of material at the bottom end of the straps when adjusting it shorter.

Best strap I have used!

There are many things I like about my "Leash" camera strap. Ease of length adjustment: No fumbling with time consuming buckles, just smooth, fast continuous adjustment. The anchors are very unobtrusive when left on the camera. They do not hinder handling or operating it. Narrow strap width: very easy to stow in a small bag compartment or pocket when not in use; makes it very handy. My camera with grip and heaviest lens weighs almost five pounds it is nice to know that I do not have to worry about strap failure. All in all, great strap! I would highly recommend it. Good job, Peak Design! Regards, Carlisle

Great leash (my second one) small problem with tag

This is my second leash strap. I have one on a Sony A7Riii and so I bought another for my A1. The tags look identical to the older ones but I could not thread them through the A1’s strap lugs without damaging the tag. Using dental floss (which worked great on the A7Riii) I did manage to pull the tags through the A1 strap lugs but not without damaging the outer black sheath and revealing the yellow warning thread beneath. I will file out my A1 strap lugs to make their holes bigger. I do not know if the internal diameter of the A1 lugs is smaller than the A7Riii. Other than this unexpected incompatibility with the Sony A1 the strap itself is perfect; compact, very well made and discrete.

Peak Design Leash Strap is Awesome

I got this for my Nikon Z5, which almost always has a 24-120 f4 lens on it. I considered getting the Slide Lite, but at the last second went for the Leash because of the packability. I was a little worried that the thinner strap would dig into my neck since the Nikon full frame mirrorless cameras are a little heavy for mirrorless, especially with a large-ish lens. But I'm happy to report that it hasn't been noticeable at all. I got the Ash, and it is a little darker than I expected, but I'm digging it. The anchor clip system is an awesome feature, even though I probably don't disconnect the strap enough to take full advantage.

Great Product

I have combined a Clutch CL-3 and Leash L-AS-3 for my daily setup. The Leash works very well for me. I like to carry down by my side or at my back. The Leash adjustable straps easily adjust to my needs. The Anchor's and the way everything attaches to the camera is perfect. I have numerous Anchor locations so that I can change my carry positions while hiking. It's all super handy. Quality is top notch and customer service even contacted me after the purchase. All great so far, very happy with the quality, price and purchase.
