Comfortable, strong, excellent attachment system

I’m really pleased with this. It solves every inconvenience you normally have with a camera strap: they’re bulky (this is sleek and minimal), they’re uncomfortable (this is soft and lovely), they’re hard to adjust (this is really quick) and hard to attach and detach (the Peak Design system is absolute genius). WELL worth paying slightly more than for just some basic strap from somewhere. I’m a convert.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A great-looking, versatile strap

I bought a Leash to replace the strap that came with my Fujifilm X-S10, and it's a great upgrade! I appreciate how easy it is adjust the the length, and I like being able to quickly attach one side to the bottom of my camera and carry with the lens facing down rather than sticking out. Leash is well-constructed with quality materials; it really does look and feel great. My only minor, minor objection is that the metal pieces could potentially cause scratches or damage to the camera (particularly the screen), but I'm not in the habit of haphazardly shoving my gear into a bag anyway so it's an easy enough risk to avoid. I definitely recommend and would buy Leash again.

It works so well on an old camera

I have an old Mamiya C3 that needed a strap but due to the shape of the lugs nothing standard fitted. Then I found this system where you put the pods on and then connect the strap to the pods. Perfect. Really well made and fantastic design.

The LEASH is a nice strap!

I love my SLIDE strap, however I am not as enthused with the LEASH. While the LEASH functions as advertised, I miss the SLIDE's strap length adjusting mechanism. I do a lot of cold weather photography, and have to take off gloves or mittens to operate the length mechanism. I think the LEASH would be much better with a mini sized version of the SLIDE's length adjusting hardware. I also miss the the Slide's anti skid underside that keeps the strap from sliding off my shoulder. I would like my LEASH a lot better if it were a SLIDE EXTRA-LITE. Nevertheless, the LEASH is another fine Peak Design product built to last a life time.

I bought this to replace the original strap that came with my peak designs shoulder bag. I thought that strap was slightly too narrow and had little confidence in the attachment method between bag and strap.
Sure enough, the the original strap came undone from the bag as I was putting it on my shoulder. Luckily, I managed to catch it before it hit the ground.
I shoot with Leica cameras so we are talking very expensive equipment!
The new strap I bought hopefully ends any such vulnerability.
Generally, good designs but some attention to detail could be an improvement.
I will keep you updated as I continue to use the new strap.

Best strap

I tried a dozen different straps and the leash was my favourite. I do street photography and don't want to stand out so this goes well with my mirrorless camera. The Design Lite was a bit more comfortable after a long day but I traded low profile over comfort. I had my seamstress friend make a small six inch padding that I can velcro on and off the strap for comfort, which also slides up and down the strap when I adjust length. The only thing I would change on the design would to have an option of having black buttons on the locking device rather than red, not a deal breaker. I give this strap a 4 3/4 rating.

Great product but I'm fussy

Saw this online, watched reviews and said 'yep, that will suit my needs perfectly.
Received it today and I must say it is great BUT being 6'5', this strap is to short, it barely allows my canon 6D to sit below my hip line. This is my disappointment.

Strong, nice feel, and the dark blue color is sleek! I finally bit the bullet and took a chance on Peak Design and I am never looking back. Especially as a wedding photography I am frequently switching between cameras. The lock system along with the heavy duty power of the leash does wonders! 5/5 just buy it.
