Everything that Peakdesign says it is. Leash is a handy way to secure and carry your camera when you need to. Yet it's convenient and easy to disconnect when you don't.

New Leash

Just received my new Leash, my second one and a very nice improvement. Comfortable, easy to adjust on both sides now. Works like the rest of the system. I bought this one for my new Nikon Z 7 camera and the weight of the camera is perfect for this strap.

Very Comfortable

The strap is super light and very comfortable. I, long ago, took off the strap that Olympus had provided because of it size and thickness. It felt like I had a noose around my neck. This strap is perfect in weight and function. Allowing me to quickly remove the strap when needed.

I have been looking at getting a new strap for my camera and I just love the versatility of the whole system. The strap itself is comfortable, looks great, easy to use, and does exactly what I need it to. Definitely would recommend!

Splendid strap, but can be improved

The strap is almost perfect. Comfortable and very functional. Just a suggestion: Should change the aluminum parts that regulate the length of the strap by other made of durable plastic, in order to avoid scratches on the camera when it is stored in a bag

versatile and easy to use

It is very easy to set up with your camera and then you have options on how you wear the leash depending on your use. It is comfortable for around half a day shooting but take heed of their video comments if you are shooting the whole day as it sort of strains the shoulder.

A New Way To Carry My Camera
on April 23, 2019

I bought the Leash to make it safer and easier to carry my E-M1 ii camera and 300mm f4 lens in the field. The Leash is attached to the lens tripod mount via the Anchor Mount and to the camera by the left side strap eyelet. This protects the equipment from accidental falls. I have a hand strap on the right side, so can share the equipment weight between my neck and shoulder and right hand. When using the Leash with a shorter lens, the Link that was previously connected to the tripod mount is fastened to the Standard Plate on the camera bottom. This gives me an option to dig around in my Sling or Messenger bag for lenses, filters etc. without losing control of my gear. I don't feel the need for one of the heavier straps with my equipment; the Leash is so perfect for the way I shoot and work that it's always attached.

Great for the Canon G7X

So far I love my leash! It's comfortable, easy to use, and the universal quick connecting anchors work perfectly. I was a little worried it wasn't going to work out since the eyelets are very small/narrow, but the a split rings provided were exactly what was needed and makes the leash compatible with the Canon G7X. No more camera dangling from my wrist!
