[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great bulb once I figured out how to connect to it. The trick is the light bulb only operates on the 2.4GHz band. As a workaround, for the initial connection, you use one phone as a hotspot with a 2.4GHz connection. Set the network name and password to the same as your regular WIFI one. Then connect to that hotspot to force your phone onto the same 2.4GHz band as the lightbulb. Once you make the initial connection you can disconnect from the hotspot.
