[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't connect the Lenovo smartbulb to my smartphone using the Lenovo Link app. The unable to detect the smartbulb while it blinking (in detection mode). All three smartbulb have the same problem. Aside from that problem, I tried to use it as normal light bulb, it flickers from time to time, it drives me nuts. This is the third smartbulb I bought, I didn't run into such issues with the previous ones. I am very disappointed, I have to throw them out, such a waste of my money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great alternative to more expensive smart bulbs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setting up Lenovo smart plugs and bulbs can be such a pain if you don’t have a dedicated 2.4 ghz Wi-Fi to connect them to. I used a YouTube video entitled, “Smart Home Device Won't CONNECT To WiFi! How to connect your 2.4 GHz Smart Home Device to Wifi.” by Steven Love to help me get mine set up. It took so many tries I stopped counting, but I eventually got it set up. It looks great and is a much cheaper alternative to Philips Hue. It does the exact same thing for a lot less.
