[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Bulb however the software is the reason I wouldn't purchase this in 2022 onwards. The last update was 2020. A new update could make these bulbs so much more, sadly there's no update coming. I paid 7 cdn each and for the lumens plus the fact it does change colors makes it a worthwhile purchase at that price point. At full price better options are out there. Overall I am happy with my purchase for the price. Caveat Emptor: The software is buggy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as my younger sister had been pointing it out for a while, I wanted to try it before making it a part of her Christmas gift. They work great! I used two to light up my bedroom, and they’re very vibrant. I’m sure you could get away with one for a smaller room, but I have had no issues using two. These can be used as a normal light as well, or they give the same effect as strip LED’s when switched to colour. Very easy to set up with google and they synced together automatically!
