I received this power inverter in a very timely fashion, however I'm a little disappointed. I wanted to know how long it would power a light during a power outage so I tested it. The light stayed lit for less than 1 hour on a fully charged battery. I have two batteries, so at most I will be able to light one lamp for a couple of hours.

Works well and as described the only reason it's not a 5 out of 5 for me I was kind of hoping it would have more wattage so I could run my angle grinder or similar corded tools please Greenworks make an 80 volt "generator".

Questionable Advertising with Safety Concerns

The photo on the announcement for the new 80v Inverter shows a backpacker using his phone plugged into the unit strapped on his pack...except, the inverter comes with clear safety instructions with the manual and warnings on the unit that include:
FOR INDOOR USE ONLY
SHOULD BE PLACED ON FLAT SURFACE
FOR INDOOR USE ONLY
SHOULD BE PLACED ON FLAT SURFACE
Otherwise, mine is brand new. It seems solid, well built. I tested it with with a lamp, 19inch TV and also the USB outside on two batteries (2ah and 4ah). No problems! I admit being one of those asking Greenworkstools to develop this product and am glad they did. My plans were, and are, backup power at home, RV use when boondocking and convenient charging around the house.
