Works great with the 80V battery. Take on camping trips or extra battery capacity when a power source is unavailable. Easy to use and operate.

Unit works fine after one operation to power a pellet grill in lieu of a long extension cord. However, I have had a request submitted on 4 April 2021 (Request: (402396) Defective Battery) regarding a defective 80V battery that I would have used with the inverter. It is now 16 July 2021 and I have had no action yet regarding the warranted battery. I provided only 2 stars as of this writing, since I am afraid that if Greenworks does not honor warranties on related equipment, I would suffer the same fate on this item should something go wrong.

I was really excited about this. When I plugged a green works 80 volt battery in the product produced smoke and almost caught on fire. Still no refund for the defective item.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
