Another Greenworks home run!

I have been waiting for this inverter to come out, and boy was it worth the wait! With everything today being so fast-paced and battery-dependent this Greenworks 80-volt inverter strikes the right balance between charger and a 110 outlet power source. I had to do some work on a remote piece of property, which had no source of power. I was able to recharge my three 12-volt impact driver batteries twice and top off my phone. I was pleased with it so far but at this point is where it really impressed me, after using it earlier in the day I then used it to run a small fan with 110 outlet on low in my shop to distribute the heat evenly, while simultaneously topping my phone off again. At 9 pm the 5 a.h. battery still had 1 of the 3 bars left. I highly recommend this inverter it's very efficient, neatly packaged with great build quality, and cuts the cord literally making life a whole lot easier for those always on the go! Great job GREENWORKS!

Keeps me working when the power goes out

I bought this power inverter as emergency backup for my computer and internet. I already had two Greenworks 80V batteries for my lawn mower and it seemed like a good way to get some backup power, since I now work from home and need to have operational internet and computer during the work day.
Recently, a power company transformer blew nearby in the middle of the work day and the power to the house went out. The Greenworks power inverter did exactly what I needed it to do, keeping my router, modem, and computer running until the power company replaced the transformer and the power was restored.

I have several, well now many, Greenworks 80v tools. And I have several batteries to use with them, ranging from 2.0amp to 4amp (NEED/WANT 5amp one). I really want a dual 4-5amp electric snowthrower, the little 80v one is a champ and gets 80% of my snow throwing business... With that said. The 80v Power Inverter is perfect to have around for power outages, or just to plug in stuff near where you want to work around the house and don't want to bother with an extension cord. Of course, power output is limited to your batteries' capability - but it works great for all sorts of stuff. Plus, a couple USB ports make it handy for charging phones and stuff on camping trips! If you have the batteries already - it might be a handy device for you to have around.

It's a decent modified sine wave inverter for running or recharging small electronics. Be aware it's not a full sine wave inverter, so it will not work well for most tools or appliances with an AC motor.

Perfect for power outages!

I bought two of these after finding them on the web site. I live in an area with lots of storms and so lots of lost power. We got these to run fans, phones, and lights. The USB plugs are great. I got about an hour and a half of run time from each one. They work as stated, charge very fast and are easy to move around.
