In your case, devices like a Starlink satellite system can have a higher and more variable power draw, especially during startup or when maintaining signal, which can quickly exceed the inverter’s capacity. When multiple devices are connected, their combined wattage can surpass the 300W limit, triggering the overload protection you encountered. This is expected behavior and helps prevent damage to both the inverter and connected equipment.
For scenarios like outage backup, especially when powering equipment like Starlink, networking gear, and additional electronics, a higher-capacity solution such as a Greenworks power station would be the better fit.
