this item was great while camping. My batteries are only the 2mah version and they are years old at this point so my output was lower than I would like (I need newer bigger batteries) BUT I would suggest this portable power plant to anyone with a few of these 80v batteries. Test your power output at home so you know what kind of range you would get and bring your charger just incase there is a spot near by to charge while inverter is not in use

Plays CDs, records, and radio. Also powers a fan. These were what I wanted it for. I have a small solar system I have to turn off when it is cloudy. This compensates.

Product seems to use my 80v battery's life extremely quickly. Just charging a phone one time fully, reduces battery life a third (1 bar). I find it hard to believe that it would use so much of the 80v battery when my old iphone draws mere 5v and has less than 2000mah capacity. It also gets the unit and 80v battery warmer than what I think a 5v draw should be making. But I'm probably not understanding the conversion correctly.

No longer just a garden tool....

I bought the 80v inverter and its really a fundamental change in how I think about our greenworks products. While I would love it if it could run something that requires more than 300 watts, its fantastic to be able to run lower power items like lights, charge phone batteries, etc. just by inserting one of our Greenworks 80v batteries into the inverter. I brought 3 batterries for a weekend camping trip and only ended up using one to keep phones charged and a few lights, etc. Love it. Only gave 4 starts due to limitation on Watts but other than that its fantastic.
