Defective Product

I bought this speaker about a month ago and after a few uses I noticed the speaker is buzzing loudly when placed on any surface. At first I thought the base very powerful but it seems like a defect as I cannot make out a word of any of the songs I am listening to. Not very happy with my purchase as I’ve been wanting one of these speakers for years and it’s not functioning properly.

Awful charging

The only cord that will charge this thing is the one it came with and that hardly will ever charge the device. Just extremely annoying that you have to find that specific USB-c cable or it won't charge and even if you do have the specific one it came with it still hardly works.

Thanks for your feedback. You can try to check and clean if there is a spec of dirt in the charging port on your JBL Flip 6 which mainly causes you to hardly plug in the charger to the speaker. The USB-C charging cable is commonly the standard power input of our portable speakers. Peeling?

Good sound but I hate the appearance

I bought mine a few weeks ago and did a simple customization: black body, blue casing and initials written in the same shade of blue as the casing. I received my product and I hate the way it looks. The initials are written in a much lighter shade and somehow, the write up is annoying to read (it's like trying to read something after its highlighted with a bright highlighter). The shade of the casing looks a little duller. It's a good speaker but I just hate looking at it.
Don't bother customizing if you don't want to get disappointed. You cant return/exchange.

Could be better

Bought the Flip 6 a couple weeks ago to use when vending at cons. This product is falsely advertised for how long the battery lasts. A full charge is quoted to last up to 12 hours on the website but in the 2 times I’ve used it I was lucky to get maybe 4 hours of listening time. Not sure if maybe I got a lemon or if they are just falsely advertising the listening time but it sucks that I spent that kind of money on a speaker that doesn’t do as advertised. Overall sound quality is good but not worth it if the battery doesn’t last

If the speaker doesn't meet the advertised playtime hours even at low to mid-volume levels, there could be a problem with the battery of the unit. Custom Gift

I bought this for my little brother. He's an artist and producer so I wanted to give him something with a personal touch. He's wanted a speaker since he tried my Charge 4, so this was the best gift option. He scared everyone in the house the first day when he blasted music throughout the house. All the more proving he loves it.
