I bought this a few weeks ago before our family vacation in the Florida Keys. We love to listen to music while enjoying the pool. The rich tones that this bluetooth speakers has is great! The size was just right to fit in our suitcase. I would highly recommend this product if you enjoy music!

Problem charging

I bought the JBL flip6 about a month ago and it’s already giving issues, doesn’t want to charge at times and it shuts off often

Thanks for your feedback. Here are some troubleshooting steps that might help isolate the issue. First, use another charging cable and power adapter to see if the unit will charge, and while it's extremely uncommon, try to use another wall outlet to be certain that the issue is not with the outlet. Next, the charger may not be powerful enough to power the unit and charge the battery. Check the adapter and make sure that the rating is 2 amps or higher. Last is reset, turn on the speaker, then press and hold "Volume +" and "Play" for more than 3 seconds. The speaker will turn off and reboot to factory default. You may need to 'forget' the speaker in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair it again. If the issue remains, please contact us for further assistance.

Not actually waterproof

Ugh!!! This speaker sadly isn’t “waterproof” like it’s described. If you plan on using speaker while boating, don’t! Mine got splashed with water and now won’t turn on/charge. It didn’t even get fully submerged!! So disappointed! Looks like I’ll be in the market for a new waterproof speaker.

If there's no light indicator on the speaker whenever you plugged it to a power source; please make sure first that the charging port is clean and dry when you charge the speaker.
