I was under the impression I could pair this speaker with My previously owned Charge 4 but couldn’t pair them together.

This is all you need in a compact portable unit. The size, sound, and loudness of it is great. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I am only getting 4 hours of play time at full volume. I'm not sure if the charge will last longer if the volume is lower, but where I use it I need it to be loud.

I bought the flip 6 sfter extensive research and after couple weeks outside by fire, under heater in the snow and in the house this speaker deserves the tech reviews #1 spot in its class! The sound is great and best of all it stays connected to my phone without having to fiddle with settings. Look no further, the flip 6 is the one.

Glitches then just quit working

While I love the sound of this speaker it started glitching and randomly skipping songs and adjusting my music and the only way to fix it would be to disconnect the Bluetooth and reconnect it (which has been a challenge in itself since day one). Then when I disconnected it this last time it just completely stopped working and won't even turn on. I've only had it 16 months. Either I got a defective one or these are made very poorly. I own 3 JBL speakers and this is the first time I've had this problem and I'm very disappointed that 1 year is the factory warranty window. I would not recommend this speaker. Very disappointed it crapped out so fast and had so many issues in less than 16 months.

Good looking speaker

I bought my speaker like a mont ago and I customized at my style and it came out really good, but the problem I have with my speaker is that it suddenly turns off even when it’s fully charged, and I try to turn it on again but it doesn’t turn on, only after a few tries it turns on but it keeps doing the same problem after.

Thank you for your feedback. We're here to help isolate the issue with your JBL Flip 6. First, power cycle by pressing and holding the power button for 30 seconds while the unit is not plugged into a power source, to see if the unit will unlock. Next is reset, turn on the speaker then press and hold "Volume +" and "Play" for more than three seconds. The speaker will turn off, and reboot to factory default. You may need to 'forget' the speaker in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet to pair it again. I have a Flip 4...which in it's own right is a great speaker. This one caught my eye and WOW is it an upgrade. The bass is quite amazing and with the EQ in the app, you can give the low a bit more bump for lower volumes. So far, really happy!
