[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to own a Yoga after my experience with one of these sleek, smooth running machines in the past. I find myself very conflicted about whether I should return this Yoga 7, however. My biggest issue is how ridiculously sharp the front edge of the laptop is. Its not so noticeable when using it for short periods of time, but the longer I spend typing/surfing the more irritated and raw feeling the underside of my forearms begins feeling. It is painful to use this laptop. Why on earth is that edge so SHARP? Asthetic? It's stupid. The lack of rounded edges and the weight distribution also makes it impossible to open the laptop with one hand. You have to dig two fingernails between the thin, sharp top and bottom aspects to pry it open. Really awkward. My other issue, albeit a silly one, is the start up screen. Why on earth, on this sleek, modern looking machine, is there this 1993 Kid Pix looking Lenovo logo?? I paid decent money for this otherwise fine looking computer but feel embarrassed to start it up if anyone else is around. It looks like some cheap bootleg brand product because of this preschool string art design choice. Just bizarre.
If you rest your arms on your laptop as you use it, avoid this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
