I have always had/liked HP products but ... Having problems w/ it regarding getting on web sites, the power cable comes out too easily - a design issue as it's right next to a usb port - wish all usb ports were on the opposite side & there were more of them - powers off when I don't want it to
My ten-year-old and two-year-old HP laptops have a true matte screen with no reflection. Sometimes I have to fiddle with the angle, but generally the colors are true. This new laptop, on the other hand, is so dark as to be unusable. And to add insult to injury, there is a reflection of what's in front of it, albeit blurred. I won't be buying any more HP products.
This is a nice laptop. I don't do much more than use it for office documents and email. It is very light for it's size and the battery seems to last a good while. Would prefer that the power button was not located within the keyboard. Overall, I'm happy.
PC started well, downloaded software and files, used files the first day; the last two days only black screen. Moved cord from battery B/U to wall outlet, no change.
