HP Laptop 17z-cp200

I am thoroughly enjoying my new HP Laptop! A 17-inch screen far exceeds a 14-inch screen. My new computer is faster, has more memory, and can custom-design the appearance and other functions. It was on sale at a fantastic price, and since I decided it was time for a new computer, I took advantage of the sale. I highly recommend this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Performance, setup, and response times were/are very good with a nice screen size but heavy laptop weight limits use. After startup personal files in the cloud were corrupted and cannot be accessed.

Works well. Fast. Easy setup. Not too much bloatware. Nice features and good value for the money. Only two options I wish it had was a lighted keyboard and a touch screen (not worth the extra money for that option).
I would recommend this to a friend!

A step backward in graphics.

Graphics is a step down from my old computer. HP no longer tells you what integrated graphics is in the AMD computers. I did some digging and discovered that this computer has Radeon Vega 7 and my old computer had Vega 8. Do your research make sure Vega 7 will handle the task that you need it for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While its low price made me wary, this laptop is just what I needed. Setup was quick and easy. It handles the work I need it to do and the 17 inch screen is great for streaming. The only regret I have is that I didn't upgrade to the backlit keyboard.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This laptop is wonderful. Very high end feel. Fast. Battery has been excellent. Lasts for days.I've only had it a short time but I'm really liking everything about it. It was overwhelming choosing a new laptop but this one has put my mind at ease.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A nice machine, with limitations that keep it from being a great machine!

Caveat: I purchased this system on behalf of a friend who wanted technical help with buying it.
This is a nice machine, especially for the price of purchase. The problem is its lack of upgradability. This would be fine if you thought that your needs wouldn't ever change or that your system wouldn't become obsolete in two years, but for most of us it means buying more machine now than you actually need because the CPU, Memory, and data storage (SSD) are all soldered onto the MainBoard and cannot be changed. I try to never buy machines in this class, but they are cheap! I try to buy systems that I can double the memory on in two years, add storage when I need it and upgrade to Processor when I need a bit more juice, or want the system to last another year or two before I have to send it to the landfill. It makes the computer seem more like a toaster that you throw away when it starts taking too long to make your toast. Then you have too get used to an entirely new machine instead of enjoying the comfort of one that you know well. I know that this is a common lament about all things modern and our disposable society.
That said, it is a good value if it meets your needs and will for the foreseeable future. For that reason, I CAN recommend this product, but not for everyone.
