Lack of light on numbers lock key is a real inconvenience and the inability to turn off security pin requirement is a real nuisance also. Had I known of these two issues I would have selected another brand.
It is a fairly fast Laptop for the money. To get a faster machine would normally cost a whole lot more. I got it because I need a computer that is fast enough to handle a fair amount of graphics as like to create digital art and also to run Visual Studio IDE for C++ coding without .bogging down.
I love that it is a wide screen and has a numeric key pad. It is easy to type on but the keys are very sensitive so you can't rest on them. I strongly dislike that is has very few ports and I had to buy a multiport hub in order to plug in more than a wireless mouse and thumb drive. The lack of ports is my main reason for the rating. I was able to customize this when I bought it but additional ports was not an option that they offered. The unit is light weight. I was able to plug in an additional monitor to this so that is a plus.
My new laptop seems to be user friendly. However, there seems to be a problem with my computer waking up from sleep mode. II often have to power down and power back up to exit sleep mode. Windows 11 makes it less user friendly than my old Windows 7. Windows 11 does not like my older version of Microsoft Office. I suppose that is intentional to force me to use the newer more costly Office 365. Windows 11 also does not like my older Epson NX420 scanner feature. Most of the problems I have experienced seem to be with the operating system more so than with the computer.
