Useless

I bought this thinking it would be less mess and easier. Quite the opposite! It is actually difficult to get flour and other ingredients in the bowl. I end up with flour going all over. It's just another piece to store and clean up. Much easier to put the ingredients directly in the bowl. I like the idea, but this doesn't work well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn't fit!

I bought this shield based on the model number of my KitchenAid mixer and it would not fit over the rim of my glass bowl. There was no indication in the description that it could not be used for glass bowls. I will be returning it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I didn’t really realize how useful this shield guard would be until I actually used one. Does a great job and really keeps everything way more clean in the kitchen! You should definitely look into getting one

This is the best!!! I have used kitchen aid mixers all my life. I purchased one of these for my lift-bowl mixer because I was getting ingredients everywhere. This fits nicely and works well. No more ingredients all over the place.

Great Addition to my mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kitchen Aid is a brand that I totally support. I have my mixer that I got as a wedding present 38 years ago and it is still going strong. I’m messy when I cook so the pouring shield is a great tool for me.
