No more flour puffs

Finally no more flour all over me and the counter. This fits perfectly on my 5 quart stainless steel bowl and does. Or come off at the slightest touch like the previous model. And no I did not get a sweepstake entry or anything free for this review.

Doesn’t fit

I just received my kitchen aid and other attachments and products yesterday. Im checking to make sure everything works as it should and this doesn’t fit AT ALL. It way off. I doubled checked that it was for 5 qt and it is. Then I double checked that what I have is 5 qt and I do. I came to check reviews and see that I am not alone. Im bummed because this would be very useful for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Product Not For Me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] have the KitchenAid Artisan mixer so this shield is supposed to fit and be used with this mixer. I am not a big fan of it. Seems like it was made incorrectly. There is a gap between the shield and the bowl placement. Batters seem to be able to slash outside the shield, as well as flours poofing out all over the counter top! My Artisan mixer works better at staying in the bowl without the shield. But I do have to say it is made of a quality hard plastic and it washes well. If the KitchenAid engineers could just retrofit the shield just a bit, there is a possibility that it may work great!

Makes baking easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this attachment for my KitchenAid mixer - it helps keeps things in the bowl while mixing and allows me to move faster since I don’t have to turn off the mixer every time I’m adding new ingredients. It’s especially great for baking when you’re adding flour, it keeps it all in the bowl instead of flying onto the counter.

A great addition

The new rubbery bits make the connection to the mixing bowl feel a lot more sturdy and I wasn’t worried about breaking it when I removed it. A great addition for any frequent baker

I had a pouring shield on my 4.5 qt tilt-head and when I went up to the 5 qt lift head I missed it. When I saw this on the Kitchenaid site I had to try it. It works wonderfully. No more flour all over the place. No more liquid all over the place. The design is great and the shielf stays put. The engineers did a wonderful job.

Better than using nothing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an ok product. It keeps me from making a huge mess when adding things to the mixing bowl but it does not snap onto the bowl as I expected it would. If it did, it would be much better and would get 5 stars!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a perfect fit for our tilt model KitchenAid stand mixer. It has been a delight to use. It snaps on the top of the stainless steel bowl super easily and stays put. It has been very helpful, especially with all the recent Holiday baking we did. It kept all the ingredients IN the bowl and made for much less messy baking. It cleans up easily as well! It can go in the dishwasher but I just hand wash it.
