[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my kitchen aid mixer, but one annoying thing with these sorts of mixers is that they can make a mess when adding components of whatever you’re making. This cover works perfectly to contain that mess. It’s easy to pour in whatever you need to without it getting flung everywhere. Has made cleanup easier and me look forward to using my mixer even more.

Doesn’t fit

I bought this last week for my KitchenAid Classic Mixer (4.5 quart bowl). The shield is way too big! I can barely get the shield on the bowl when the bowl is off the mixer. When I try to put the shield on the bowl while the bowl is on the mixer-forget about it! The hole for the mixer is too small and touches the mixer when the it is down. Super disappointing!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Plastic Pouring Shield

The only way my plastic pouring shield stays on the mixer is if I'm standing there & holding it on; very disappointed.

Was also a huge help when mixing my potatoes up and adding milk! I cannot recommend this enough!!! Definitely a must have for the home chef?

What a cool addition to my mixer!

I have a very old mixer but this shield works beautifully on it. Half the hassle of pouring items in the mixer are now eliminated. I enjoy using mine so much more now! A very neat item to have for your mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a current owner of the Kitchen Aid Artisian 5 qt. Mixer but no longer have the Pouring Shield. Why did I not get the Shield sooner???? Crazy! The shield perfectly fits the mixer and seals the contents so that there is not any splash or spill whatsoever. Its great and easy!

This is a great accessory, but I'm left handed so I still end up making a mess. I would 100% pay good money for a left hand version of this though!
