Small lid

This came as an accessory and it's nice and all but it was very difficult to put on without using some type of force. The video makes it look easy but not at all Atleast with the cover that came with my mixer. I believe mine was defective it actually broke trying to remove it.

Perfect fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this KitchenAid pouring shield and I absolutely love it! It does a great job keeping all the dry and wet ingredients in the mixer while it’s on. The opening is a great addition to pour ingredients in while the mixer is going. The fit is very tight and secure and it doesn’t move around at all. This is definitely a great addition to a KitchenAid mixer.

No more splatter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kitchen Aid pouring shield is a nice attachment to have. It really reduces splatter and makes pouring in ingredients neater. The pour opening is still close to the mixing unit so you still have to be careful however. It snaps on and off easily and also cleans easily.

Fits perfectly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It fits perfectly on my kitchen aide. When I was mixing cookie dough it kept in the flour so it did not fly around the kitchen counter like before without the cover. I wish I had this cover before. It would have saved a lot if time over the years from cleaning my kitchen counter.

A+ Accessory!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the 5qt container there is very little side room next to the beater head, especially while it is running. This made using measuring cups to add ingredients less than ideal while mixing. This attachment makes it much easier to add flour and other ingredients without any hitting the top edge of the bowl. This also helps to keep the dry ingredients in the bowl until they are mixed in. The shield snaps right onto the bowl and is very secure. This accessory is a must have!!! Personally I will hand wash this item. I can’t remember if it said if it’s dishwasher safe or not but I never put any type of plastic in the dishwasher as I’m afraid it will warp.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great attachment if you use a lot of recipes that require you to add ingredients while mixing. It snaps on with a great seal to make sure that you don't make a mess while still allowing an easy spout area to add as you go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The nice thing about this KitchenAid pouring shield is that it has clips attatched to it .This makes the shield fit tightly onto the mixing bowl. When pouring ingredients into the bowl like flour, all of the flour goes into ones bowl and not onto the counter. I love this for not making a mess on my counter top as before! It is a great attachment to have with my Kitchen
aid!
