Perfect fit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a perfect fit for our tilt model KitchenAid stand mixer. It has been a delight to use. It snaps on the top of the stainless steel bowl super easily and stays put. It has been very helpful, especially with all the recent Holiday baking we did. It kept all the ingredients IN the bowl and made for much less messy baking. It cleans up easily as well! It can go in the dishwasher but I just hand wash it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pouring shield is a big improvement over the original shield I had. Most of the time I ended up taking it off because it dislodged so easily. But this shield presses snuggly on the bowl and doesn’t rock and get bumped off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my stand mixer. It's one of the greatest countertop inventions. I had been using it with a fashioned ramp to pour things into the bowl. This pouring shield is exactly what I needed. It snaps on securelyand makes clean up much easier lol

Don’t buy it!!!

Doesn’t fit. I gave a 4.5 qt classic steel bowl and this shield is too big. My daughter bought it for my Christmas gift and she’s so disappointed cause I wanted one. I do not recommend buying this shield.

It makes it real easy to add ingredients and also shields the ingredients from going all over. I'm very impressed with my pouring shield.

Really an improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My biggest issue with the pouring attachment that came with my kitchenaid mixer (purchased in 2011) was that you needed to brace the shield with one hand to ensure that it didn’t move. This one clips on easily to the bowl and doesn’t move at all allowing you to use both hands. The only issue I can see that might come up is that it does not fit with the ceramic bowls that kitchenaid sells. All in all this is super useful and a big improvement to the original design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my KitchenAid shield just in time for Thanksgiving and holiday baking. I'm a notoriously messy cook, so this helped keep my mess in the bowl. It fit nicely, not too hard to get on... the only draw back is that when adding your dry ingredients, they can get stuck on the shield. You have to put them in slower and in smaller portions if you want to avoid getting them on the shield. On the bright side, I didn't have a bunch of sticky splotches on my counter to clean up later.
