Understand what you're buying

If you're goal is never to have to replace ink, this is the device for you. The device will work as advertised for about 2 years. What they don't tell you is that the device will fail before you run out of ink, and they will not support or replace it. So, you won't have to buy ink, you'll just have to buy a new printer. If you want something reliable that will last, look elsewhere.

I was surprisingly happy with this printer for the first 4 days.....until I let it do its own firmware upgrade. Now its a paperweight (powers up and thinks its on the network, but nothing can ping, browse, or print to it). HOW do you screw up a firmware upgrade which is supposed to FIX bugs? WHY did I convince myself that Epson was a good alternative to a Brother printer? I'm done being a guinea pig to firmware screwups. Guess I'll just put it back in the box and take it back to the store.

Amazing home printer

I bought the ET-3750 which is the model prior to this one. It is truly an amazing home printer. I run a home based business and print documents every day. I also print all of my checks on this printer. Not only is the quality top notch but I am amazed at how little ink it uses. I have had this printer 18 months, printing around 100-150 sheets per week, and my ink levels are only at 50%. That is incredible! I would highly recommend this printer to anyone who is sick of buying expensive ink cartridges. Another favorite aspect is that the paper loads in the front so you aren't having to constantly load the back of it (thereby saving space). I can't say enough good things about it. The only thing it would be missing is a feeder (since I scan documents a lot too) but that is rare for a home printer like this. I am super pleased at this purchase. You won't regret it!

Great features!

Bought this printer to replace an HP that died on us. Attracted by the savings in ink compared to HP. Had a hard time setting it up. To date we have not set up the scan. The directions were poor. No idea what the buttons on the front were for; it was mostly trial and error. I'm sure this is a great printer, if only I could figure out how to use it.

An ink saver!

I bought this about 2 weeks ago. So far, I´m quite excited to have it! It was a bit unclear how to print because I´m unfamiliar with the odd signs on the buttons. I went back over the instructions online a second time and finally figured it out. I´m pleased that I can use a cord to connect to my laptop and not have to depend on the internet to print and scan. The setup was very easy since every step popped up in automated instructions. I´ve printed several documents already, and my ink tanks are still full! Yay! Copies look great!
