A Pleasant Surprise

I purchased this printer to replace an older cartridge printer. I liked the idea of ink tanks as opposed to cartridges. I was able to connect this printer to a computer but some of the directions were a bit unclear. Some of the features are hard to figure out such as setting favorite paper settings, scanning documents etc. but once figured out, it works great, so far. The only real cons is slowness of printing and noise, but I can live with that. This is the first Epson that I have owned.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had this printer for over a year. I have printed many, many things and have been pleased with each one and I’m especially pleased with how little ink I have used. It is amazing!!

Great To Have

We have been printing various documents do to the Pandemic. Kids are having to print their assignments while the parents are printing work documents. This printer was easy to set up and even though we had the printer for a month, we haven't run out of ink yet. Our last printer, we were replacing cartridges every month. It was a bit pricey, but i feel like we are paying up front for everything.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great overall printer

I bought this printer about 2 months ago and it has been great. The one downfall is that the scanning capability from the ADF is less than desirable. It distorts the document and does not produce a professionally scanned document. Other than that, I'm very pleased overall.

Not What I Expected

Print quality color and black and white is not what I expected at all. I have had cheaper printers that print better than the Eco tank, and it's a shame because I bought this printer on the word of promotions by Shaq and Commando Kim on SIRRIUS. I had searched a long time for a good quality printer, so this disappointed me. The black and white print is blurry at best. It does not stand out. You would think that it is a copy of a copy of a copy. That's how poor the quality is. Colo printing is not much better. I bought it specifically for the color print so that i could copy sewing patterns in color, but the final product is not bright and if you have similar colors as in pink, dark pink, medium pink, you can't tell the difference because the color is not bright. This is a problem for me as i do a lot of cross stitching and i was hoping this would work, but it doesn't. I've had to go to my local FedX to print a working copy for me, as the Epson's colors don't print out as i believed they should. Also, when I print a full page in color, it bleeds through the back of the paper, even on 28 weight. I've only printed about 10 documents in full color and it's already starting to smear lines.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ok for the price

Had a HP printer before this and wish I had bought another one. As someone that works from home and scans documents several times a day, the feeder jams repeatedly. Never had this problem on the officejet. As well as the scanning software is not the best.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
