Very Economical Printer

I bought this printer for a project I had that involved a huge amount of color copies. It has been heavily used and had performed well.
Initially I had some problems but they were solved by installing the proper drivers. At one point I also had trouble with lines appearing in the printing about 100 pages into the document. I cleaned the print heads frequently for a while and have had little trouble since.
The printing was much slower than I hoped (about 5 pages per minute) but I am printing things with very complicated graphics and layouts. It is plenty fast for traditional documents.
Because of the level of usage I am considering also purchasing an ET-5850. My only concern is that my printing is done in batches...lots and lots at one time with possibly a month or two break when I am traveling. I am concerned about having trouble with the print heads when the machine sits unused.

Don't waste your money!

We ordered this printer online and have had nothing but problems since it arrived. The quality of printing is poor, and every time we go to print we need to reboot the printer. We spent roughly twice the amount on this printer as we have for our HP all-in-one printers and decided to try the eco tank system so we paid more. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!

Should be a great printer if I can ever get it to work

This is my 3rd epson printer over last 20 years. I have NEVER had the problems that I have with this printer. Last epson was a WF845 that I used for almost 11 years at home, so not printing or scanning 500 pages a day. But never had any problems until the rollers started sticking and causing paper jams and scanner taking 1 hour to scan what use to take 3 minutes. So thought that I would try an ecotank. BIG MISTAKE, no longer does epson include a software disk so as to install on several devices, now you have to download it from the support section. NO ISSUES until you try to scan. You have to go to the Windows store to be able to download scanner software. WHY???????. As I do not have windows store on my computer, how do I download scanner software??? Main reason for purchasing this model. If all I needed to do was print, I would have bought a less expensive model. Will try contacting support and if not resolved will be returning to store.

Prints great but huge learning curve

I've been using printers for over thirty years. They've changed a lot through the years and one would think that by now, they would be better. This Epson, I can't even figure out how to print a copy without having to open the printer feature, scan it into a folder and then print. The manual is strictly "online" and it's about as clear as mud. I don't recommend it.

If you want to do any scanning, email, cloud, forget it. This is slow and NOT user friendly

Worst quality of print ... ever ...

Was excited on buying this printer -- most $$$ I've ever spent. BUT have been nothing but frustrated and disappointed since my first test print. It is faded colors....the black is grey...the colors do not resemble the color present on the screen I was printing from.
Will be returning once I can figure out how to pack up without getting ink everywhere.

EcoTank ET-3760 So Far So Good

EcoTank ET-3760 So Far So Good. Easy set up. To drain the ink bottles after charging, I had to jiggle them or reset them. On a Mac, I connected the printer to my wireless network using the screen on the printer. Mac couldn’t see printer on the network. Epson install program couldn’t see the printer. Turned the router off for a few seconds, then back on, and the printer was available using system preferences > add printer. Prints look great. Very quick. Happy so far.
