on February 13, 2023

I had to buy a new phone because my phone was shut down. I only had my other phone for 1 yr so I was upset. Some issues are and need a tech call to resolve.

The phone is OK but I hate the Google Assistant button on the left side of the phone at the same level as the on/off button is on the right. I don't use Google Assistant and I keep hitting that button when I grab the phone and have to turn it off every time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this phone cause I was due for an upgrade and I am really glad that I picked this phone. It has so many amazing features. The camera is great and the internal memory on this phone is awesome. It has so much space that I have no idea what to do with just take lots of pictures I guess. Getting this was the best choice :-)

Very disappointed, Nokia claimed the phone would work on the Cricket network and that’s a false claim. For whatever reason when you enter the IMIE number (after purchasing) it shows as not being compatible.

Long battery life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the Nokia G50 is a decent phone. It is also a very large phone. The 6.82-inch screen is huge and can be hard to hold at times, especially with only one hand. But I have no problem finding it in my bag. On the plus side, I do find it to be a really well-built phone, with a metal frame and a pleasingly soft-touch and gently curved plastic rear cover. I find I only have to charge the phone every few days. I am pleased with the cameras. It has a 48-megapixel main camera, a 5MP wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth camera. It produces pretty and colorful pictures. The software, battery life, and build quality, along with a decent-but-basic camera, are the reasons I would recommend. And of course, the 5G.

It works for what you need it to do

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nokia G50 is a mild disappointment for me. I was very excited at the prospect of having better access to the 5G network and being able to take great photos with a 48mp camera. While this phone does allow you to access 5G speed, the quality of the display doesn't reflect it. It can only display at a resolution of 720p and has a poor refresh rate. This means your 5G content will be displayed in basically less than HD. The camera also says it is 48mp, and that it is a triple camera, but one of the "cameras" is a depth assistant and not really a camera at all. The photos you take with it are fine if you take them at a normal range, but as soon as you zoom in even a litt, things start to get distorted and grainy. Other camera modes are even worse even in decent lighting. The front camera is almost a joke, with an over all poor photo quality that comes out slightly blurred. This phone will give you 5G speed access, and it will do everything that you need it to do as a cellphone, and the battery life amazing, but for the reasons I was excited to have it, I am over all not impressed.

Phone works. Camera is ok. I bought a Nokia because they supposed were good at updating their phones software is a little buggy. Seems like the promise of two years os updates means you will get update just a year after the newer android comes out
