Awful ergonomics and bloat

I don't like the google help button on the left side which insists I want google assistance. I don't like that when holding the phone it will "light up and shift screens as I'm talking

The display is so crisp and clear. It takes wonderful pictures, very easily!! Great phone. Thanks Nokia, I think this phone is awesome!!

Phone is great, can't stand Google assistant and talkback. Tried moving icons to a new page, the assistant showed up at the bottom there to, would pay big bucks to kill it.

Took a minute to get used too switching from years of being a Samsung user. But overall it's a very fluid phone with a decent camera which is what it was meant for. However the speaker quality is very much lacking with only the one exterior speaker making sound quality drop in some acoustic settings. Overall though very smooth phone and would recommend.

Decent mid-range smartphone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pretty excited to try out this new Nokia G50 smartphone, and it turns out to be a nice size mid-range smartphone. I appreciate Nokia for not adding a whole bunch of preinstalled apps. The phone's performance is fast running Android 11, I can run all my apps smoothly without any issue, even with my games. Battery life is long-lasting and doesn't overheat the phone even with extensive usage. The sound quality is decent and the picture quality from the camera is nice and clear. My only complaint is that the display resolution is only 720 x 1560 pixels which makes the pictures not as sharp and as vibrant. Also, the Google assistant button on the side is a bit annoying but luckily you can turn it off in the settling. I would recommend this phone to people on a budget but still want a decent good quality smartphone.

The screen is nice and big, it has memory that would be hard to fill up but also takes a Sim card if you do end up needing more space. The Google button on the side of the phone is fantastic! The setup was so easy and I didn't have any type of problems with it. I dont think I have anything bad to say about this phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely impressed with the Nokia G50 Smartphone. It has a large 6.8” display. The initial set up was super easy. You just log into your Google account and follow the screen prompts. It has 128 GB of internal storage and it can be expanded to 512 GB with a micro SD card. So, plenty of storage space for pics, videos, games and apps. It comes loaded with Android 11, the newest OS for Android. The display is crisp, clear and vibrant. Its light in your hand and not bulky or cumbersome. It takes fantastic pictures and selfies with its 8 MP front camera and 48 MP main camera. Nokia has been in the cell phone market for years, their experience in the industry helped them create this amazing smartphone at such a reasonable price too. This phone would be ideal for a beginner to Android and smartphones. There is even a fingerprint sensor on the side for added security. Simply put, I absolutely love this Nokia G50!

Fantastic budget smartphone. At this price you are getting fantastic battery capacity with smart usage you could easily have this phone last you three days on a single charge. This is mainly a phone for someone who doesn't care about camera or features. Some apps can be clunky and gesture control isn't awesome but this is really a value proposition. I would recommend a third party launcher as "Android One" is very stripped down. Make sure to look at band compatibility as 5g is the biggest feature on this phone. As well look at the security update timeline BEFORE you purchase this phone as it will reach EOL in DEC 2024. For any Nokia nerds there are alarm sounds, text tones, and ring tones that are very nostalgic.
