I am coming from an iphone to the Nokia g50. The Android os takes a day or two to get used to but in function is very similar to iOS. I'm really impressed that this phone can do 100% of the things that I needed the old phone for and much more. Hardware quality is as good or better also.

The quality of the cameras was unexpectedly low. The phone freezes with 2 or 3 apps open.

I like the phone. I purchased it for my Wife.
I own the phone myself. This is the second phone I purchased.
It should come with better instructions and introduction videos.
The phone is a Mini computer.
It should be explained , the functions of MMS and Sms are to look for, because it won't send directly to Iphone . As the messages stay incrypted which u like... But I can't send Gifs like I would like to... It is a fun and capable phone...
I do have problems connecting to Mazda vehicles through Bluetooth. I don't know if it's the phone or car
But I love the Nokia Product. I hope they do well and better in the future.

Unable to update Security features in Android OS

I was real happy with this phone and it was exceeding my expectations for use and speed of apps; then in July 2023 it was unable to install the latest security update; so I contacted Nokia customer service for help; they gave me useless information on how to get my phone to install the security update; it is now August 2023 and the phone has still not updated to the July, or August 2023 security update; there is some design flaw with this phone and it's ability to install updates; your personal information will be at risk if you buy and use this phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was happy with this phone until it stopped updating. Nokia customer service made some suggestions on how to get it to update, but those suggestions did not work. Now they want me to spend money to send it out of country to a service center and spend more money fixing their buggy phone - that according to several user support pages is a common problem with their phones, some will update others won't update of the same model number. Nokia used to be a go to high quality company; I will not buy anything Nokia again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
