Big Screen Great Price!!!

Bought this for my wife. We had to retire 3.4 that she had and it was time for to upgrade. She asked for a bigger screen and wanted something that was going to last a while for her. I found the G50 was perfect size screen, battery life and 5G compatible. Also the memory was perfect for all her photo needs and I can always add a micro SD card as well. After seeing how my wife loves her phone. I'm a bit envious and thinking about another purchase but I still like my Nokia 7.2 (smiles).

Great little budget friendly phone, but...

Bought this phone about a year ago, actually more like 10 months ago. I was sick of paying for over-expensive cellphone products and so I decided to give Nokia a chance. My first phone ever, back in 2002 was a Nokia. There was some nostalgic feeling towards this purchase. The phone has been okay overall. There are definitely some quirks and buds now and then. For example, I watch a lot of YouTube videos, and every now and then after watching a couple of videos back-to-back, when I click on the "skip the commercial" button, the video I was watching will not display correctly, with images being pixelated and/or colors distorted. In order to my to resolve this issue, I shut down and restart the app and that usually helps. Another big problem is the camera. Nokia advertises this 48-megapixel camera but really I think is more of a gimmick. The quality is just not there. There is no stabilization so forget about zooming in on something, it will be nearly impossible to snap a clear picture because of the movement. Also sometimes I get this double exposure or shadows where the picture is just not useable in any sense. If you are a big social media picture taker/post I wouldn't recommend this phone at all. The phone itself is really pretty, with a textured blue back. Also, the value is second to none, for the price you not only get a phone but also a case and screen protector. I would still recommend this phone to someone that just needs a regular plain phone and is not big into taking and posting pictures. For myself, I would not buy it again. I'm going to try another Nokia but I'm hoping I could stretch this phone for at least a couple of years then I would switch for a higher-end Nokia to see if it makes a difference.

Clear, fast, and great camea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are so many andriod phones on the market. I needed a phone that was fast, has a vibrant screened great camera. The speed on the Nokia G50 is very impressive. Regardless of how many apps I downloaded it never slowed down. Screen was great too. The colors are very vivid and detailed. The camera pictures are amazing! We play softball and the action shots never missed! The high quality screen combined with the quick detailed camera made this one of my favorite phones!

I bought this as a second phone to leave at home in case I lose my primary phone, a Pixel 4a. However, when at home I tend to use it as my primary.
Love the size of the screen. Even though it's only 720 resolution, you don't notice it really. There's a slight lag compared to the Pixel, to be expected but it's not enough to bother me as I'm not into gaming. I like that there's no software bloat. Battery life is really good. Calls are clear. Speaker is loud and crisp sounding.
I haven't had any problems at all so far. I've had it for a couple of months now.
