Freezes and 911 calls only

I can't unfreeze this phone, can't turn it off, and it makes false 911 calls. I can only allow the battery to run down. Made several attempts to no avail. BIG MISTAKE BUYING THIS PHONE.

Really enjoyed using this phone. Decent performance for general activities, low lag. Dual speakers produce above average volume and clarity. Camera is also good for one without mechanical stabilization. I work long hours in a hospital so the extra durability and battery life are helpful. Dropped it a few times but so far no visible damage yet. 5G is a plus. Overall a great value, in a robust no-nonsense package. There are faster phones, but XR20 is not slow at all and I appreciate the peace of mind when using it.

I've been using Nokia phones, since the early days. I've had no desire to try other brands, because their build quality and functionality has been excellent.
After the Microsoft fiasco, I stuck with Nokia as branded by HMD Global. The Nokia 8.3 was my first Android phone. Overall I was satisfied with how it performed, though there were some practical issues with its center of balance and build materials.
The Nokia XR20 does not share the same issues, while being built more ruggedly. This is a truly well-balanced phone in more ways than one. While long gone are the days of Lumia, the camera is adequate for snaps. Post editing apps are recommended, though. While 8GB RAM would have helped make the performance snappier, 6GB is enough to get the job done on a daily basis.
Those minor caveats aside, this phone from HMD Global feels like a true Nokia!

I wish you could assign / customize all the side buttons (including the Google assistant) & I miss the blinking notification light like my old Nokia 4.2, so I didn't have to do any unnecessary phone checks... I love the wireless charging & water / shock resistance, if only the batteries would last for a week like the old 3310 or 8110 🙂
