Did a fair amount of research before buying, and this phone rated highly in the features I wanted (physical toughness being a big one). So far it feels like a substantial, well-made product. Generally, no complaints. The power button/fingerprint reader is kind of recessed in the case I bought so that pressing it is not always easy, but I made the programmable button on top an off/on switch as well. That solved really the only thing that was bugging me about it. Otherwise, I like it enough to write a review (which I rarely bother with).

The physical phone is nice and no problems. Sound, screen are nice. Maybe some crackling with the audio jack. I have not tested underwater yet which is reason I bought it. The andriod OS is not completely stable and a little wonky to operate. Problems so far are it seems impossible to get rid of vibrate and we have random vibrates in the middle of the night. The other is google auto which periodically loses sound switching between aps and not completely stable. Almost got in an accident fusing around with it. I realize Andriod is not Nokia's problem. I wish there were still the Windows phones. I loved my old Nokia phone which is why I bought another.

Very nice phone which full-fill all my requirements. It is as expected and described, not the fastest, but it really feel robust (still did not had a chance to drop/submerge it, but I am sure it will come :-D. The Google assistant button is really badly plaved and agreed with other reviews that it gets trigered accidently too often, it is is disabled. The finger scanner on the power on/off button is working very well for me. It accommodates (after registering enough of my fingers on both hands) using it while holding the phone or while the phone is on a table or charging. Love it.
On the pet peeve side, the default home screen only allows a small numbers of icon (5x5) while such a tall screen can handle much more. Too bad it can't be configured, I had to switch to another Launcher.

Good battery, lasts at least 1 and a half day (maybe 2)...
Not a speed record breaker, but I only use my phone for watching Youtube Videos, do web searches, and random productivity Apps... No high performance games.
For my needs this is awesome; no need for me to shell out twice the price for a high end Samsung.

My only complaint is the "Google Assist" button. I keep hitting it by accident. But you can turn it off. I just like having it. So I am slowly training my hands to not hit it by accident.

Awesome phone. I dropped this baby from about 10 feet in the air on some concrete on the left top corner and busted the rubberized coating. phone works perfectly fine no cracked screen. Now if Nokia would just sell rubber adhesive or replacement outer casing for this phone I would be happier?!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this phone. The picture is so clear and the volume is great without earbuds but so much louder than regular phones I have had. Have watched several youtube on the phone and it is so great to not have to turn on the brightness all the way. Love it.

Awesome phone, nice build. Texture on the gives good grip for use in one small hand. Water doesn't make the screen hard to use as most others. One down side is the plastic corners will chip and mar when dropped.

So far so good, takes really good pictures despite what other reviews are saying. If you're a tech nerd it's probably not a good enough phone for you, if you're looking for a good all-around phone with a good camera, get one!
