Great phone so far! The stock Android is a little limiting in terms of customization. I had an LG V30 for over four years and this, for the most part is on par, but the V30 was more customizable and less "Google-y". My Instagram app malfunctioned a week after getting the phone and I had to uninstall and reinstall it. Sometimes glitches and says no internet when connected to home wifi. I'm happy to continue to stay away from a iPhone and Samsung though, so I can't complain about that. The screen is the largest I've had. Sometimes when I turn the screen off it will turn back on if my finger (that is register for unlocking) is too close. Which is fine, but a bit weird when I'm trying to put it back in my pocket. The "bedtime" setting is great and turns off the "always on" display at the time I choose. I had to Google how to set the always on display though.
My one complaint is that I can't double-tap the screen off. I can double-tap on, but can't do it in reverse. For that, I'm docking one star. I've been accustomed to that feature on LG phones for the past ten years.
Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. Battery life is fantastic and it seems super reliable!

If you're after a mid-range priced rugged affordable phone this is the best thing on the market. It's fast enough I have no noticable speed issues (though don't game heavily). Great display. Great call quality. Virtually no software bloat with pre installed apps.
Only real complaints: Side button fingerprint scanner is far less desirable than one under the main display or on the rear. It's less reliable when you WANT to scan. Tends to unlock accidentally when you have your hand in your pocket or otherwise moving phone around.
And proximity sensor seems a little buggy. I've accidentally hung up or muted the phone with my face a couple times while on calls. Never had that issue with any other phones.
I usually go Moto or Samsung, but tired of screens cracking, ports getting water damage, and so on and this device really holds up there.
LOVE that I don't need a case. Still using glass screen protector to prevent scratches so that could be contributing to the proximity sensor issue I suppose.

not as durable as I would have liked outer rubberized coating is very weak and has points of compromise, never been a fan the gorilla glass wont shatter when dropped butt scratches easy and leads to pressure cracks. Otherwise, weight is nice hand feel is good (I have large hands) responsive and sleek butt classic Nokia operation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
