Great Phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the ultra blue color this Nokia XR20 comes in! I like that it has a three year warranty and will continue to get security updates over the next four years. It is very solid and can withstand water, which is an excellent feature when I have two children. It also doesn't bother me if I hear one of them drop it since the screen is scratch resistant and strong. I have always had Android phones so it was easy for me to set up and use. The camera captures really crisp pictures whether I'm inside or outside in the sun. The sound quality is great so while outside I can play music that everyone can hear, and I have a sizable backyard. I have a bunch of apps on it and it doesn't lag or lose a charge quickly. Overall, great device that I recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing you will notice about the Nokia XR20 is that has a large screen and is a bit heavier than other phones. Which is a quality that I like. It feels more durable and it is. The Nokia XR20 also has a very nice quality camera set up. And offers several camera features. You can zoom all the way in, say for example the moon, and the picture quality will be a lot clear than some other phones. The sound quality is also is also a lot better. I can listen to music and not need my head phones. This phone has a lot to offer and is built to last.

Buttons. This is really a knock on the Android OS, which is terrible. There is no way to reprogram the google assistant button, though thankfully you can disable it, and the power button is incredibly janky and hard to find. Lastly, the 3.5 mm jack is poorly wired and I get terrible feed back during calls when I use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never write a review about phones but I like this one so much I just had to say something about it! This phone is a tough one. My child uses my phone for videos (yeah I know but sometimes I just gotta have a break) and he's constantly dropping it or banging on the screen. This phone is protected by GORILLA GLASS! The built in hard case doesn't even require me to buy an expensive OtterBox case because it won't dent or ding up if my child throws it across the room! I couldn't believe it! The picture quality of the cameras is immaculate. The user interface is simple enough. No soft keys just pull left across the screen for previous screen.

I am an early adopter, hopefully my many issues will be sorted with bug fixes. Here is a short list of the problems I am having:
0) Using face reco to unlock phone is a MASSIVE debilitating power drain. The phone's battery last a few hours. Based on my experience this phone does NOT support this feature - or at least it is highly misleading to say it is supported. Any feature that kills the battery this fast is not a feature - it is a bug. Turn the dang feature off until you get it working in a future update. 1) I regularly fail to answer calls. When I swipe up the caller's experience is that I answers and immediately hung up. This occurs perhaps 75% of incoming calls. (I have disabled wifi calling and the issue remains). 2) On outgoing calls I regularly have the other party unable to hear me using the handset to my ear (no headset). Toggling to speaker phone is a reliable work around. When I make a call I now immediately toggle in order to avoid having the caller unable to hear me. 3) Very rarely I see a single pixel line white line (on an otherwise black screen) just below the camera hole. 4) While listening to podcasts I hear a "hiccup" in audio playback when I press the power button to turn off the screen. This repros 100% of the time. Occurs when the display times out on its own as well. 5) Bluetooth speaker volume leveling is broken. The "jump" between volume levels is ridiculous. The progression is something like 1/10 to 3/10 to 7/10 - listening at "low volume" is impossible - it is either too quite or two loud. Using JBL PowerUp speaker, does not repro with other Android phones. 6) "hey Google" does not work while the display is off. Perhaps this is a change in behavior from Google? My previous Andriod phone supported this no problem. So to get my phone to respond to "hey Google" I have to turn on the display? That is dumb. Once I have turned on the display it is easier to just swipe up and type in my question - why use "hey google" after having already turned on the display?

I bought the XR20 about 2 months ago. and am now reaching the point where I swear at the phone in frustration.
I love the shape, weight and feel of the phone and my reasons for buying it are the rugged features (not yet tested) and I am a Nokia fan so desperate to see it work after the Microsoft debacle.
BUT: Fingerprint sensor is poor. I struggle to get the phone to open Lock screen is terrible. It seems to open when anything else touches the sensor except my finger. I have made several 911 calls without knowing. Sometimes the Camera will open when I am trying to activate the lock screen. Where is the "back button" on the browser? Screen freezes when exiting Android Auto and at times when trying to close windows.
Did anybody actually test this phone before commercial launch? As much as I try and convince myself otherwise, I know I wasted my money.

I kind a disappointed. The good things about this phone is rugged because it has a built in case. I have this for 2 weeks. The battery isn't last 2 days (without using, just on.) The 5G isn't that fast compared to Note 10 plus and Moto G stylus 5G that I own. I would like to return if they allow.
