2nd year i have purchased this kit. Instructions are easy to follow and your bird turns out amazing. The pellets show minimal to no smoke when cooking but they are imparting excellent flavor to your turkey

Great Turkey, crappy packaging

Great turkey, the packaging lies…
The bag said it was resealable. It was not. I had to open the pellet bag to access the brine (inconvenient packaging and seems silly). So, I then had three open bags of pellets that I could not reseal. Nor did I have space in my containers for the pellets as I was intending to use all of the pellets for the turkeys. As a typical brine takes at least 12 hrs (I defrost in the brine so 48 hrs), this seems inconvenient and a silly way to package things.

Thank you for your review of the Turkey Pellets. The pellets come in an 18 pound resealable bag. The brine kit and turkey seasoning is place in the bag on top of the pellets but can shift into the middle of the pellets. Pellets can also be stored in a bucket with an airtight lid to keep the moisture out. Keeping them store inside a temperature controlled house can also help prevent them from retaining moisture.
