I have a shiny red phone that I love to look at, and the Crystal Palace case showcases it rather than hides it. Best of all, it provides amazing protection without adding weight or resistance (it slides easily in and out of pockets, purses, etc). Acid test: phone recently slipped out of my purse onto a tile floor. I thought surely damage would be done. Thankfully, not a scratch on phone or case. I'm confident I'll have the Crystal Palace for years to come. My previous cover, a far more expensive apple model, was the antithesis of all of these things and literally fell apart after less than a year.

It’s a nice phone cover if I kept it in my purse or a pocket purse, but I have ditched a purse and only carry a wallet and my phone goes in my pocket. It slips out of my pocket and I’m afraid I’m going to loose my phone. I’ve gone back to my otter box which is in dire need of replacement.

Clear and fits well but the back is a harder plastic and it cracked when my phone was dropped from about 4 feet from the floor. The phone was saved though.
