Helps with smell and allergies

I was given this as a gift from my dad because both me and my daughter have painful allergies. I had it next to the front door for awhile but moved it 10 feet, next to my litter box since the cat litter is the #1 cause of my allergies in the home and it's helped a lot with our allergies and the smell. My only issue is it has to be right next to the box to get rid of the smell and help with the allergens from that area

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely one of the best products I have at home. The Levoit True HEPA Air Purifier is such a welcome sight.
I put it in our bedroom the first ight and put, set it to the 2nd fan and the air felt so clean, next day I put it in the living room. It does not take up much space and is not a sight for sore eyes. In the living room I put it on the 3rd fan setting, it's a little louder than the first two settings, but not excessively annoying. It definitely helped with the smell of food, cooking and when we ordered in. The air was definitely cleaner and less odor. I love how easy it was to setup, pull it out of the box, open the filter compartment and remove plastic, place filter back and turn on your new Levoit True HEPA Air Purifier! My new air purifier is such a huge help now, my daughter suffers from slight allergies and I noticed a difference with her. I will definitely be buying another one for her room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got my Levoit True HEPA Air Purifier three days ago and I love it. This is a powerful unit that does a great job of cleaning the air. Within just a few hours of having it on, I could tell a huge difference in the air quality. My wife and I are both smokers and with this unit, the hallway outside our apartment door no longer smells like an ashtray. Thank you Levoit.

Easy to run with multiple functions to choose from (Timer, speed, etc.) Great filtering, can smell the fresh clean air coming from it. And durable, this is made well. Perfect for me.

Works well, but it is very loud

I think this air purifier does a good job at circulating and filtering the air. I live in a duplex that is almost 100 years old, and it can get pretty stuffy in here. This purifier does help. However, it is very loud on any setting other than the lowest. In order for it to be effective for my living room, it needs to be set on level 2 at least. Unfortunately, even that setting is incredibly loud. Forget about ever using it on the highest setting. I’m a little disappointed, as I hoped at this price point it would be a little quieter. I am fine with white noise, but this is definitely beyond that. It’s at least as loud as an old box fan.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the washable filter!

I use this Vital 100 air purifier in the room that my puppy stays at night. It completely removes the doggie smells and pee pad smells. I was happily surprised that I don't have to buy a new filter every month-you can vacuum the filter and wash the pre-filter!! Thank you Levoit this is a real money-saver.

Easy to use and it is not noisy unlike other air purifier that I had. Overall, I am well pleased and satisfied and I highly recommend this unit. Good quality.

really wanted this to work

I bought this in August and tested it out for a week. Unfortunately it did not help with my allergies as I was hoping. I woke up with watery eyes and stuffy nose. I know purifies aren't supposed to be miracle workers, but I was hoping to have this machine alleviate my symptoms. I don't know if it's because the way this model is built, that the filter on the sides to get everything running through just was not enough to purify the air in my small room. But I am going to attempt to try another model. I appreciate the great customer service of this company, and truly did want this to work since my brother has a Levoit too, just a different model for a bigger room.
