I stay in an apartment near the freeway and airport. I was worried about all the crap I was breathing on a daily basis.I do not worry when I use this wonderful machine.

We've been experiencing record heat and smoke from fires around California and this air purifier is a real gem! It is extremely quiet, and when it is on a lower speed (not 3) you can't hear it at all! Customer service is great too. I had a question and received an email response within an hour! Register your product and the warranty is extended for another year. We liked it so much we ordered 2 more for our bedrooms!

I got this as an additional air purifier to a larger model I already have. It probably would work best for smaller rooms. Also on power settings 1 and 2 the unit is whisper quiet, and appears to be not moving much air. Power level 3 however is very powerful, but is also extremely loud, which makes it difficult to have in the room next to a television.

Could be quieter!

I have three different Levoit air purifiers. On low speed this one is fine, on high speed it’s incredibly noisy. My other two are quiet regardless of speed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Significantly Reduced My Allergy Symptoms

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This True HEPA Air Purifier by Levoit has significantly reduced my allergy symptoms. It has a three stage filtration system to effectively remove impurities from the air, remove odors, and improve the air quality. It captures 99.97% of contaminants and filters it out of the air. There is three different speed settings to choose from and it is energy efficient.

Purchased in August 2020. Very happy with operation. Controls are easy to adjust.
Unhappy with Levoit. I paid for an extra filter and have not seen it or any recognition that they owe me one.

I got one of these units last year to help control pet dander in my bedroom, from my large, furry friend the Labrador. It does a very good job with this. It was so effective during last years fire season smoke, I ordered up a second unit for the main floor in my small home. It’s getting smoky already, and I crank these units up to 2 or 3, and they’re doing a wonderful job of keeping my air fresh and as clean as possible. Extremely quiet on 1, fairly quiet on 2, and acceptable on 3. I’m happy to deal with a bit of white noise in times of smoky air and health alerts.
