Easy to use and easy to spread fertilizer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this SnowJoe spreader to spread fertilizer in my yard. I don't have a large yard, so I didn't want to buy one of the push behind spreaders. The SnowJoe spreader is easy to fill. Think of it as a big sized coffee travel mug. The lid unscrews so the full open top is exposed. I pour in my fertilizer and close the lid. The lid has a spout that assists in the spreading of the fertilizer. The lid has a dial to set how much fertilizer is discharged as I shake. This spreader is lightweight and easy to hold. The L shape handle is a sturdy good size. I can put fertilizer where I need it without overspreading in non grassy areas.

Simple concept

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really simply concept, like a big cup with a handle and a few hole selections like a salt shaker. Works easy with rock salt as I tested it one time as it's not snowing out yet. It is made really well. Should last a while

A game changer masquerading as a simple tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an unassuming tool but one of my most handy that has usefulness spanning all seasons thanks to its adjustable dial that changes from three fine to coarse settings to feed a variety of materials at my preferred rate. For example it can feed grass seed at a slow rate to ensure that I achieve a proper spread and do not empty the canister too quickly, while it also can switch all the way to a maximum coarse flow option that will feed rock salt without any clogs. I find that the easy to fill canister is a perfect size to carry a good quantity of material without allowing me to overload myself, which I am very prone to do. Also, the plastic is robust and stands up to both being knocked around and cleaned easily with a hose with zero possibility of corrosion. I wouldn’t have imagined that such a simple tool could have become such a game changer for me, but it has made several chore tasks far easier to accomplish. Love it!

Great Product

The container is large yet easy to handle. Use it for grass seed or snow salt. Useable for all year round. Great functional gift idea for that hard to buy for person at a very reasonable price.

Easy to use

It was very easy to spread seeds evenly and not have to get my hands dirty or worry about carrying large amounts back and forth. Saves me SO much time and doesn't clog like some other ones I've used. It was also easy to set up and easy to use. I loaded my Snow Joe up with good ole grass seed. Snow Joe works like a dream! Easily spreads, controllable dial and best of all no clogging! I have already recommended Snow Joe to my neighbors. I can't wait to try it with salt this winter!

Very handy
