[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This snow blower is awesome. It moves nicely through the snow. Its so easy and convenient that it comes with not 1 but 2 24 volt batteries to accomplish longer jobs. It doesn't work as great in heavy and wet packable snow but works great in the light powdery stuff. This cuts my shoveling time down by 75%. It clears a path about a foot wide. I definitely recommend this to anyone needing a faster and safer alternative to shoveling. This is perfect for Michigan winters.

Does An Excellent Job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Snow Joe Snow Blower arrived just in time. We received 8" of wet and heavy snow, followed by another day with 6" of snow. It gave me the perfect time to try out the Snow Joe Snow Blower and really see what it was made to do. There are two batteries and a charger that come with this snow blower, and the total run time (as you have to use both batteries at the same time) is about 30 minutes. The Snow Joe Snow Blower is very lightweight, so easy to carry and move wherever the snow lies. The assembly instructions were fairly easy to follow, and took less than 30 total minutes from opening the box to having the snow blower set up. Unfortunately the batteries were not fully charged, so that took an additional two hours prior to being able to use the unit. Once the snow blower was ready to run, you have to remember that the safety mechanism that is set up is to push the safety button in, and then grab the control handle. Without pushing the safety button in, the blower will not start. Because of its lightweight, the snow blower is easy to push, yet not as easy to steer, especially in heavy snow. Straight lines are a challenge as the lightweight unit bounces and swerves during use. I was able to complete a sizable portion of my driveway before the batteries said it was time to stop. I rushed in, plugged in the batteries and was ready to start my batteries charging again, so I could get the rest of my snow blowing job done. "Not so fast!" said the battery charger. Actually, the batteries have to cool down for 15-20 minutes before the charger will start charging them again. If you put hot/warm batteries on the charger the green lights stay on, and there is no charging taking place. I learned that I had to set the batteries aside for a time, let them cool down, and then put them on the charger. If I put them on the charger immediately after use, they didn't charge for the next time, had to be removed from the charger, and then reinstalled on the charger for the charging to begin. You only make this mistake once, because it's wasted time if you don't let the batteries cool down first before charging. Next, 30 minutes is not a very long time. It goes by a lot faster than expected, and the snow blower will stop whether you are done with the job or not. I learned that the Snow Joe Snow Blower can do it's job quickly, so I walked faster than normal, and the snow blower was able to keep up with my faster pace. I love the snow blower's directional shoot! There are so many ways, directions, and angles that can be used to put the snow where you want it. Depending on the weight of the snow (wetness) the snow blower can throw the snow a long way, even over previously blown areas. Even with its lightweight, I had my 11 year old want to try using the snow blower, and it was fairly difficult for him to push and stay in any type of straight line. He did enjoy using the snow blower, yet he needs a little more weight before being able to manage it well. Overall, I like this snow blower and would recommend it to anyone who has a small area for snow removal. The batteries are limited to 30 minutes, then there is the battery cool down time, and then recharging time that will take an additional 2.5 hours before the snow blower can be used again. Great for small jobs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my snow Joe, it’s already saved my back! Normally I’d be out there shoveling but, snow Joe picks up all the snow and throws it where I want it without any of the heavy lifting after about 5 minutes of assembly! I love the kit came with everything including the 2 batteries and I was able to use it right out of the box no need to get gas or oil, no tools, no fumes. I would definitely recommend snow Joe to others for light snow, we haven’t had deep snow yet so we’ll have to see how it works when that happens.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product worked great! The plastic blades seem to be able to move a decent amount of snow. Snow blower was extremely easy to assemble and directions for charging the batteries were simple. It is a little narrow so may take several passes to clear the driveway but it is perfect for a smaller driveway or walkways. The size does make it very easy for anyone to move around (unlike other large heavy machinery) and barely takes up any space in the garage!! A must have for city/suburban winter cleanup!
Being a 73 year old female, I was able to handle this product with ease. It was easy to put together. So far, so good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This snojoe snowblower was easy to assemble no instructions really needed. I like that it's electric and uses only batteries. I did the whole sidewalk and 2 car driveway without any issues on battery time. It doesn't shoot the snow as far as I would like it but it might be because we only got about 2 inches when I was trying it out.

Exceeded my Expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SNOW JOE exceeded my expectations. First time used on 6 inches of snow and the machine performed very well! Has a small path so it takes a bit a longer. But so easy to use it did not matter. Did not work as well on the path that was driven on but that is a struggle with most snow blowers. Very light and easy to use. Perfect for small driveways and sidewalks. Easy storage too because it folds and small in scale.
