Bad Batteries

The batteries that come with this need serious coddling. The manual says they should never be below freezing and will be damaged if below freezing for more than 60 minutes. You do know that snow only falls when it's below freezing, right? Extremely disappointed that I must now replace batteries because they couldn't design or include batteries with extreme weather protections.

Not too big but light enough to move around easily. Easily assembled and the 48 voltage ion battery and charger works for a long time.

Super Helpful New Addition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To me, it all comes down to the right tool for the job. This Snow Joe is great for quick hits. Say you get couple of inches of snow, or want to clear a walkway or small driveway or a path. Most times you wouldn't even bother with a large gas thrower - you'd end up shoveling. This bad boy takes care of all that and stands up to pretty normal storms.
Granted, I won't be out there with this after a 2 foot drop or anything, but that's not the intent.
Maneuverability is superb because of the lightweight nature. I'm knocking it a star because of the rear wheels are kind of weak and not really designed for this type of work. It makes some of the work harder.
Body construction is excellent and power is surprisingly good.

Worst product ever

Ordered product in December.Got it shortly after.Did a cement pad 20x20 ft.about1.5inch deep then quit.Return it.Order one more .Got it end Jan.Used it second week in Feb.Only did half pad then quit.Return it.Hope there is a better brand next year.

Quit and would not start

Bought my Snow Joe the end of last winter. Did not get to use it then because it never snowed again. Took it out this morning and went about 6 ft. and it quit and wouldn't start again. Batteries were fully charged. It was a light snow, about 3 inches. So disappointed in this product.

Convenient and powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this snow blower to clear my driveway. The average driveway is about 22 feet long, but mine is over 40 feet long, so I have a lot of snow to cover. This helps me a lot. I can get everything clear in one charge--convenient and powerful. I suggest letting the snow blower warm up a few minutes before you start, and always start with a full battery. You can tell the charge level with the light. The handle is comfortable to hold. The way it is designed, my back thanks me as I am not bending up-and-down like when I used a shovel to clear snow. Overall, this product has made my life easier. I definitely don't mind not having a cord around!

Lightweight Snowblower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The battery powered snow blower is very lightweight. I am able to pick it up and maneuvers easily. It the threw snow about eight feet but only did about an eighteen inch wide section. The batteries charged quickly and lasted the entire time it took for my seven to eight car "L" shaped driveway and a sidewalk. I am 5'10" and felt that the handle was too low. It would be nice to have the option to move it up or down.

Light weight but full of power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Snow Joe cordless snow blower has all the bells and whistle‘s.it’s so easy to put together it literally took me 5 mins , the instructions are very easy to read and understand and very detailed .Not only is it light weight but it’s full of power but to me it’s quite. I can carry it up and down my stairs with no problem ,unfortunately I don’t have a garage so I have to store it in my house but like I said it so light weight it doesn’t matter to me.I love that it gets the job done quickly and accurately the first time .I did mine and a few of my neighbors snow in no time it gets right down to the sidewalk with out a problem and does a great job throwing the snow it does a great job if you ask me . It’s a plus in my book because it takes such little time to do the snow .It comes with 2 rechargeable batteries that both have to be used at the same time for it to work .and they last 50 minutes And take 2.5-3 hours for them to be fully charged, I would suggest keeping them charged and or buying another set to have on hand ,I like that you can buy different accessories for it if you like .
You can tell that it’s built with quality in mind and that it’s sure to last a long time .
