Extremely Pleased

As a Mechanical Engineer, I could appreciate how well the entire BMW was designed. I was excited to get started assembling my BMW and as I was putting the Lego pieces together, my excitement increased. Being my first Technic assembly, I did not know what to expect but, was pleased that I had made the right choice. I simply had fun watching how the individual gears worked with one another along with the piston movement in the engine and how the two were engaged by the 162 piece chain links. I am so pleased that I plan to disassemble the entire bike (leaving the decals as is) and reassemble again. I was not disappointed and felt the cost was far outweighed by my enthusiasm.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the first motorcycle I’ve built. This build is amazing. The piece count is nice as I personally like the larger sets. I would like to see this become a regular thing like the super cars that come out every few years.

The kit is expensive but you see the value easily when you see the custom parts. The motor/transmission is the smoothest I have seen in a lego. It also reproduces the shifting of a bike closely which is also great to see.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not perfect

Two issues. 1. The white stand is totally inadequate. I had to use the yellow stand adding 2 inches to the height.
2. The front grill will not stay on so I discarded it.
