Design is a bit flawed

The legs are unstable. I was trying to attach the head and it fell to the side. The whole build is ruined. Pretty much have to start from scratch again. I’m not a happy camper.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I don't play with my Legos, (my daughter does that for me) they are for display purposes only. This is definitely an impressive addition to my collection. I did have to take apart the piece that is "impossible" to take apart using a sharp implement, my wife's seam ripper worked beautifully. My set also had a missing piece, first time ever, but Lego sent me a new one no problem. I do wish the "belly" was a bit more secure, as it tends to fall off when moving the set. Otherwise, awesome.

Love this set

I've been waiting a long time for a large scale AT-AT and was thrilled when it was announced. I was able to snag one on release day and couldn't wait to put it together. I love the assortment of mini figs and accessories like the speeder bike which make for a great overall display. It is very solid once build which is impressive considering its size and weight. It is a little pricy but was well worth the money in my opinion.

Expensive, but worth the money

The UCS AT-AT has largely been a pleasure to build; there are a few awkward matings between large subsections, and there were some strange choices made regarding mating two subsections, and then having to extensively work on the large, newly-combined result, but none of these have detracted from the overall experience. While building four legs is a bit repetitive, the clever gear system make them, along with the neck, the highlights of the build; my wife was amused by the number of times I said "that's clever" while building these.

Heck of a build

Got this set for our 14 year old who is a Lego and Star Wars nut. He whipped through it in a few days over Christmas break, but said it has been his favorite UCS build yet. He loved the technical build challenge and mini figs. Rated it pretty close to favorite with full Hogwarts build.
