Falls Apart

I'm convinced they're coming out with another set that destroys this set. There is no other justification for how fragile this set is. Inside there has to be one piece that once it's hit the whole set just falls. Every other piece is ready to go and likes to fall off 100 times in anticipation of this one fateful moment. I see what you're doing here Lego. As much as I hated building this set cause pieces fall off with a sneeze. I will buy that set you're keeping from us that crumbles the entire thing in one fell swoop.

I am a lego expert. I have over 20 years of experience in building and teaching lego. I travel the world, and teach under privileged children in Guatemala the art of lego making. I consider it an honor. I am part of the lego family. I recently bought the AT AT build. At first there was excitement. But this excitement quickly transformed into frustration, and anger. After building 80% of the model, I started to notice missing pieces. From the standards I expect from Lego, this is quite simply, unnaceptable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Buyer beware

If you are looking for an expensive set, to have all the middle section parts fall off when your in the final stages of the build, Great news this is your set. The middle section under the body would not stay attached. Best part is you will have to take apart just about everything if you want to fix it. Poor design and for it being Lego it’s no better than a MOC build. I would not recommend this set unless you plan on modifying the build and if that’s the case go buy the design plans for a MOC build for much less

Take a picture to display

To fragile. I know I will be told that a part is put on wrong.. not the case . Belly, legs, accent pieces, you name it. If you move this set it will destruct at some point. Its display only. Just frame a picture of it instead.easier to dust. I want to return this.

Terrible quality

Don’t get me wrong the set is beautiful looking, but it’s terribly designed. I’ve been building lego since I was 4 so I have plenty of experience with older sets as well as new sets. The design of this one is bad, parts fall apart and when I try to fix the section that fell off then another section falls off. This is made for looking pretty but not for anything else. The flimsy attachment of the neck is placing so much tension on the techniq connectors that give it some time and they will break off or warp enough that the connection will look off. The head is the weakest point of this set. The legs are second to being the weakest point. It makes me want to take it apart and just place the body without the legs on a shelf so that the head can be supported. I have no idea how this passed QA at Lego. Quantity over quality I guess.

This may possibly be the best Star Wars Lego set ever made. The only set that comes close is the UCS Millennium Falcon.

I got this UCS set back in december of 2021, and it is an amazing walker. I would choose this set twice over the stupid LEGO Titanic set.
