I don't know exactly what you could call my build set. But I have been building legos most of my life and as an adult I have enjoyed being able to buy myself large sets. This is the only lego I have not had fun building. It is super fragile! Like do not breath wrong around it. It is extremely hard to put parts back on without knocking others off. If you enjoy complex builds maybe you will enjoy it. However, I found a lot of things to not be functional and just kind of meh? It is cool! But I would not recommend this lego unless you like conquering hard builds.

Awesome Build and Design Masterpiece

I’ve waited 23 years for LEGO to offer a minifigure scale AT-AT and it was worth the wait. The set is awesome. A UCS with a rare interior play space. The design of the legs to support the weight is amazing. Truly one of the best LEGO Star Wars sets of all time.

The Best LEGO Ultimate Collector Series Set Ever!

Ever since I saw the photographs of the large scale AT-AT “LEGO Ideas” entry by freelance designer, “CaveGod”, on April 9, 2012, I have continually dreamed of it being conceptualized and produced as an official LEGO set. While CaveGod reached the “10K Club Member” status, his design unfortunately did not achieve the seal of approval for production. Well, 9 years later, The LEGO Group has finally produced this UCS large scale AT-AT, and it is utterly stunning! It is by far the absolute most superb UCS set of all time. Many thanks to the exceptionally talented LEGO engineers and staff involved with this project. Likewise, many thanks to CaveGod for his original AT-AT masterpiece of a LEGO “Idea”, that he independently designed and built almost a decade ago! Bravo to all of you.

An All-Time GREAT

When you think about every LEGO Star Wars ever released, I don’t think there’s a single set that is as scale-accurate AND as plainly epic as the UCS AT-AT. Even the Millennium Falcon and Star Destroyer aren’t at the PERFECT minifigure scale like this one is. A modern classic of a set. Bravo LEGO!

Frustrating UCS Build and DIsplay

I was very excited to finally give in and pay the exorbitant price for this massive UCS set that I have always wanted. I was planning to display it next to the UCS Star Destroyer and UCS Millenium Falcon, both of which are equally massive. Unfortunately, as I got deeper and deeper into the build, the poor design and flimsy construction of this particular set became evident. Progressing from bag set to bag set and trying to make the connections between the major build sections is impossible without the build shedding numerous pieces that were previously connected with what were obviously insufficiently designed tile connections. I am extremely disappointed and am not even sure I will display this set at all at this point because it is so flimsy that it sheds pieces as you move it from your work area to your display area.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hands down best UCS set to date

I have the ucs falcon, ucs star destroyer, and many others, and I have to say without a doubt this is hands down the greatest ucs set of all time. It’s truly to scale and with a full interior this set is an absolute monster. I could not recommend this set enough!!
