This set is great! Took 11 hours to build. The build was a build hard, especially the technic portions. Overall it was fun and a great experience!

Missing pieces
on May 3, 2022

I paid a lot of money and waited patiently for this set, when it finally arrived I didn’t even make it through the first box before I noticed a piece was missing. I’ve ordered a replacement but now I have to wait 7-10 business days for my piece to come in. I personally believe if you are sending a replacement piece that was not included you should send it priority. I’m nervous to keep going because I’m worried I will keep finding that pieces were not included in my set and I will constantly be stopping my build to wait for Lego to correct the mistake

Missing Parts
on May 3, 2022

I love this set and the UCS Millennium Falcon I got as well. My only issue is that with both sets, a part or two was missing. On the Falcon it was a part on the outside so it wan't a big deal. The part on the At-At however, is impossible to get at once the legs are attached to the transport. It came with a piece that was two studs longer than the one required. So now I have to wait over a week for the part to be sent out so I can continue to build it.

Good Model, Bad Bricks
on May 9, 2022

The design is beautiful but Lego please bring back the quality control you used to have. The clutch power of bricks is really poor lately, specially on sets I buy on release date (rushed out?). This set relies too much on clutch power of bricks and every time I point at it things fall apart. Then when you try to fix it things just keep crumbling and you'll spend a hour to fix things. I don't even dare to show the inside to people because its just embarrassing. And I don't mean moving it around or pick it up, just opening the side door will cause this. or removing a panel carefully. Specially after you haven't touched it for a while. Also there was such color difference in some bricks inside the feet I thought they were two different colors of grey when I sorted them and thought I was missing bricks while building. I was so excited with the set I tried to overlook it. But now I own it a while things seem to get worse and I really feel I should have returned it when I still could. I love looking at it but I can't really be happy with it sorry.

A powerful and menacing machine, now in Lego form
on September 5, 2022

I have long yearned for a UCS rendition of the unforgettably recognizable shape of the AT-AT walker. I got a taste with the UCS AT-ST released over a decade ago and upon the announcement of this set I was giddy with excitement. I have collected and built quite a few other UCS sets but none had me as excited as this.
The build is engaging and ticks all the boxes: ingenious techniques (as always) by the master builders that leave you wondering and questioning while assembling until the true purpose is later revealed leaving an immense feeling of respect for the way the set designers have made use of all the Lego elements; a variety of Technic and classic Lego brick construction and a melding of the two; plentiful detailing through creative greebling; and, well, how can you leave out the scale of the thing?
If I could have one complaint about the set, it would be the panel gaps on the walker's head/cockpit which seem to be an unfortunate side effect of making this set somewhat playable by allowing posing the minifigs in the cockpit or the body of the walker. I think I would have preferred an unplayable cockpit to the displayability being somewhat mired by glaring panel gaps compared to the main body of the walker which are comparatively trivial despite the armor panels being removable to showcase the inside.
Otherwise this set is incredible and I love that the legs and head can be posed. As stated before it was a joy to build despite the repetition that was building 4 identical legs.
It is quite sturdy although I am worried in the long term about the strength of the neck given that is it only supported by four Technic beams that allow the head to swivel at all. I have seen similar fatigue of the beams on the UCS Y-Wing's engines which I have had on display for 2 years now.
In conclusion, this is a set not to miss for any Star Wars fan. The size is breathtaking and this is sure to be an amazing display piece for anyone.

Beautiful set, but not without its flaws
on February 5, 2023

I love the detail that went into this set and the engineering that went into the design. The leg mechanisms are very impressive; and love how everything looks. However; this was a fairly difficult build; harder than the UCS Millenium Falcon. My biggest complaints are that pieces fall off of this way too easily; the underbelly assembly kept falling off, and the head seems a bit fragile to me. Any time I touch it, something falls right off. I had to rebuild the head 2-3 times already. This is a set that I don’t recommend trying to pick up and move…ever.

Get 2 battle packs!
on February 24, 2023

The reason for this review is to say if you are buying or have bought this set, get 2 Snowtrooper battle packs 75320. Not only would you get a total of 6 snowtroopers, and 2 scout troopers, the 2 speederbikes are the exact same as the 2 that come with the AT-AT. So if you want the "hanger" in the AT-AT to be full and have a few more troopers to fill in the seats, get a couple of battle packs.
As for the AT-AT... The look is great. I did find some errors as well as part interaction confusion in the instruction manual. Some of the parts do fall off kind of easily, but I have it for display and once built... it really looks great.

Fantastic Set

This set is truly incredible. The minifigs are awesome, the interior is beautiful, and it is simply amazing as a display model. Easily one of the best sets of all time, and the imposing display piece you get is absolutely worth the money. The build experience was very enjoyable as well, as seeing it get bigger and bigger was quite exciting.
