Nice looking lego but fragile

I was so excited to get this lego. I just started building Legos during the pandemic so of course I went crazy. This lego was the 1st one that caused me a lot of frustration. 1st a peice was missing, it's so fragile that you can bearly pick it up or move it and then the roof doesn't close. It only closed once; I even took it apart and rebuilt it but that still did not help. This would be 5 stars if it wasn't so fragile and the roof top closed. I didn't care about the peice because lego is pretty good about sending a replacement.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bad design

This is a good looking kit but it was not designed well. Every time you try to put a new piece on another one falls off. It needs better connecting points.

Busy for the beginner

I have only recently entered the world of Lego and just love it! I have helped my grandson for years and decided I needed a new hobby to keep my mind and hands sharp. I did the London Bus after receiving it for Xmas and it was a cake walk. I then bought this kit and it has been a challenge!! My biggest complaint is it is very fragile, I have probably redone the majority of the bus at one time or another and I definitely wouldn't let anyone play with it!! That being said I absolutely loved how hard it was and the outcome. It will go on display with the London bus in my office and I hope to add others as time goes on. I have yet been able to get my roof to lay flat though I have redone it numerous times. That's ok I will just display it open, I enjoy that look also. You definitely get your moneys worth with this kit and I recommend it for those who want a beginners challenge!!

Difficult Build

I was so excited to get this van and start building it to put on display next to the VW beetle that I have already built. I had a lot of difficulty with Connecting the two main roof pieces. As I try to put them together things kept falling apart. I ended up rebuilding both main pieces of the roof and they did go to Together better after I did that. But I am having a lot of difficulty now attaching the roof to the van. The back gate kept falling off and falling apart as I tried to attach the roof to the van. Once I got the roof on it is not sitting flush with the front part of the van roof. I am very frustrated with this build.

Kid loved it

My son loved building this. He did have to stop before it was finished though. We were missing the last bag of the build. Called customer service and they were super helpful and replacement parts are on the way. Excited to see it all finished

Not worth the money

This set is one of the worst I have ever tried to put together. You put one section together and try to put it on the rest and some other section falls apart. Not worth the money.

I don’t know what all these 1, 2 & 3 star reviews are all about… it is an expert kit, it’s not for beginners. Another we’ll done model by one of Lego’s master builders!
